While coffee is one of the largest consumed hot beverages globally, tea should not be overlooked.
Countries like China, India and the UK are the largest consumers of tea globally. And while Canada
becomes more ethnically diverse, so do our beverages of choice. Hot Beverage solutions are important
in daily commercial foodservice to maintain speed of service and high qualify output for the various
beverage types. From powdered flavours for hot chocolate and French vanilla, hot beverages have
made a big leap in their quality & availability of options in the last several decades.
Hot Beverages
Hot Water Towers
Available in a variety of sizes, these units offer hot water for any
need on demand. Many offer precise temperature control for
different types of tea. Black tea & green tea are best brewed
at 212F and 180F respectively. These units are not capable of
adjusting the temperature for each cup but can be set to a precise
temperature for the majority of your clientele needs.
Powder & Liquid mixes
Powder Mix dispensers come in sizes ranging from 1 to 6 hoppers
and are plumbed in for high volume and fast paced service needs.
They come with high powered whippers to ensure a proper blend
of the product to water. Liquid Mix units are made for bag-in-
box (BIB) containers that blend hot water with the extract for an
exact mix every time. In both cases, these machines often provide
supplemental menu offerings similar to other hot beverage options
available such as coffee and/or tea and are common in larger
chains and institutional needs than in smaller boutique cafés or
applications.
The BUNN iMix line of Hot Chocolate & Cappuccino dispensers
provide a quick and easy solution for hot beverages on-the-go.
Ideal in fast-paced self-serve applications, such as hotel self-
service breakfasts, C-Stores and gas stations.
Waring offers 3 size options in hot water dispensers – 3, 5 & 10
gallon units. Units come complete with a night-mode for energy
efficiency and providing hot water when it is needed.
